Information
Preparation
-
Exfoliate your skin the night before your airbrush tan. This removes
loose, dead, dry skin cells that prevent
even application of sunless solution and will
improve and extend your tanning results.
-
Shave the night before
your airbrush tan.
-
Remove deodorant, lotions,
perfume, and makeup prior to your airbrush
tan application.
-
Select an old, preferably
dark bathing suit or undergarment to wear while being
sprayed. Also remember to bring old,
dark-colored, loose-fitting clothing to
wear home. The tanning solution will wash
out of machine washable clothing.
Aftercare & Tips
For Maintaining Your Tan
-
Wait at least eight hours
before bathing, exercising, getting wet, or
applying moisturizer and deodorant.
Initially; water, sweat, and toiletries can
hinder the development of your tan.
-
The following can cause
your tan to fade quicker and are recommended
to be avoided: moisturizers with AHAs,
chlorinated water in pools and hot tubs, and
long showers/baths.
-
Moisturize frequently
after your first shower, this will help to
extend the length of your airbrush tan.
-
The DHA will begin to
activate in two to four hours after the
application. The cosmetic bronzing color you
see immediately will wash off with your
first shower.
